Saskatoon’s Nutana Legion will host a first ever Canada Day fireworks show. The display will launch from Rotary Park, on the west side of the South Saskatchewan River, after the city scrapped the usual riverbank launch. The change follows the closure of the TD Bridge for renovations.
The fireworks will be set off at dusk. The move lets the city maintain the celebration on schedule while ensuring safety. Residents can gather in Rotary Park to view the display.
