A United Launch Alliance rocket blasted off into orbit today from Cape Canaveral. It held 29 small satellites for Amazon’s broadband network. These will join a growing group already flying low over Earth.
This flight marked the Atlas V program after decades in use. In California, SpaceX also sent up a Falcon 9 rocket this morning. It delivered 24 of its own Starlink satellites. Another SpaceX flight is due for tonight – Phoenix viewers may spot the rocket’s glowing trail.
