National Reconciliation Week 2026 takes place from May 27 to 3rd of June. The theme is All In: Reciprocity as Reconciliation, encouraging all Australians to participate in the ongoing process of reconciliation, rather than making isolated gestures. This period is dedicated to honouring the histories and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, promoting truthful discussions about the past, and working towards advancing justice and building respectful relationships through everyday actions. Reconciliation is viewed as a shared responsibility that requires sustained effort from all Australians, aiming to create a more inclusive and equitable society.
