This period is dedicated to honouring the histories and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, promoting truthful discussions about the past, and working towards advancing justice and building respectful relationships through everyday actions. Reconciliation is viewed as a shared responsibility that requires sustained effort from all Australians, aiming to create a more inclusive and equitable society.
