www.bbc.comPenarth Vineyard is a small Welsh site where Bernard and Tanya Herbert planted their first vines in 1999. By 2001 all 10 acres were bearing fruit, with varieties including Madeleine Angevine, primarily Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay for sparkling wine. Wines are produced by Three Choirs at Newent. The vineyard’s status remains independent.
