London police discovered a small marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff spotted the helpless animal on July 18. The animal was scared and had no food while shivering. It withstood the traumatic ordeal. Animal advocates described it an criminal abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers found a previously unknown monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery occurred during a routine survey in the Congo Basin.
