Kingborough Lions dumped Melbourne Victory out of the Australia Cup with a 3-0 win at the Showgrounds in Hobart. Nearly 3,000 supporters turned up and watched Victory get taken apart, with the result ending Victory's cup run immediately. Further south, Melbourne City had a much calmer outing beating Weston Bears 3-0. Both teams now head into the cup's last 16. Attention turns back to the league for Victory after a bruising night in Hobart.
