Eleven Edge Early Learning centres will shut their doors after administrators failed to attract buyers for the sites. Seven of the sites are in Queensland. The closures follow the collapse of the childcare provider, which has left families urgently searching for alternative care arrangements.
Administrators managed to sell some centres in a fire sale, but the remaining 11 drew no offers. Parents have been given very limited time to secure new placements for their children as the shutdown moves ahead.
