Professor Clare Wright to lead National Museum of Australia Council
www.latrobe.edu.auClare Wright appeared at public events, as an Australian historian, recognized for The Forgotten Rebels of Eureka (2013), portraying Eureka Rebellion through women’s perspectives. She has also written and presented history programs for ABC, like Utopia Girls and The War That Changed Us. With a PhD from Melbourne, she is a professor at La Trobe University, leading public history initiatives at La Trobe serving on the NMA Council since 2022. 2020 saw Wright awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia. for contributions to literature and historical research.

In 2020, Clare was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia in the Australia Day Honours list for “services to literature and to historical research”.
